PCES Study Group Fall 2022

The Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Course is an exclusive DIY home study program. That means you do it yourself. Alone. Procrastination takes over and a year goes by and you are left with a course half completed.

Not anymore!

The PCES Study Group is here to help you through!

This is an incredible opportunity to stay on track, get it done and to process through the vast amount of information offered in the Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Course. We will meet together via Zoom regularly throughout the course to discuss content.

Here's what to expect:

  • 10 hour + long Zoom Calls over a 15 week period to review material, answer questions and apply to practical client based scenarios (recordings will be sent out)
  • Accountability to stay on track with watching the videos (It's a lot! Trust me you'll need someone to tell you to get on it!)
  • A community of like-minded professionals to bounce ideas off of and build relationships with.
  • Deep dive into difficult to process concepts and brainstorm practical application of material.
  • Case studies looking at real live humans to process through the information in a practical way.
  • Expertise provided by Jill Zimmerman and her experiences applying the information in the PCES Course.

What People Are Saying:

This study group is hands down the push I needed to take Sarah's course! I had been looking at the course since 2019...Only took me 2 years - I am so glad I did and even more thankful Jill offered this study group! I am not a pelvic health PT and I'm currently working in schools as a PT - I did this course for me in my postpartum journey but so much of what we learn from breathing, posture, exercise progression, etc is applicable to everyone! I found Jill on Instagram and immediately started stalking her posts! She shares ideas and information in a real and digestible way. Jill is like your girlfriend next store - giving you kind, honest and quick information! I knew she would lead a study group in the same way she shares information on instagram- cut through the crazy jargon - what is the main issue/problem and how do we realistically address the problem? As a rehab professional I learn best by hands-on learning. Participating in a study group while doing the self-paced course allowed me to get through the material at my pace (working mom 🙋) but I had accountability with the study group for both getting through material as well as a virtual "hands-on" learning - we talked about real-life cases and used each other for examples - think virtual lab class. I honestly would have never finished this material on my own (professional procrastinator 🙋🙋). Talking through case studies with the group was immensely helpful! If you are committing to take the course, participating in the study group is a no-brainer! It can only enhance your understanding of knowledge of the material to learn from other like minded professionals!

I am a “learn from just getting in there” kind of person so the videos are extremely helpful but the practical case study moments we’ve done in the study group have enhanced what’s being taught, yet in a non stressful way. More like exploring and playing with the knowledge we’ve obtained verses needing to nail it every single time. So with that said, I would recommend the study group. The more brains the better in my opinion!

I chose to sign up for the study group with Jill in order to keep me on track of going through the course. I also love all the videos Jill puts out on Instagram sharing her knowledge so I knew I would gain a lot from participating in the study group. The study group was fantastic. It was very insightful to hear all the different perspectives of each beautiful mind there! I would recommend anyone to take part in this study group. Thank you Jill for all of your work in putting this together and sharing your knowledge with us each time!

Thank you so much for this group! It was the ONLY way I was going to get this done. Not really that self motivated but accountability and a group is my jam!
